Stipes Report

THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	IMPERIOUS LIGHT (J P van der Merwe) and DIAMONDS N DOLLARS (*J Solomons) were slow into stride.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:

a)	Leaving the 300m, KOOL BAIKAL (R Munger) was steadied momentarily to avoid the heels of BIT OF FUN (G Lerena) which was carried out marginally by PASHASHA (*K A Brewer) which shifted out away from the crop and was straightened.  Thereafter approaching the 100m, KOOL BAIKAL was steadied to avoid the heels of CAP ESTEL (M Yeni) which rolled out marginally when Jockey Yeni attempted to adjust his goggles which he accidentally dropped.      
b)	At approximately the 200m, Jockey Yeni's (CAP ESTEL) colour cap became adrift.  This resulted in his goggles slipping and in attempting to rectify this, Jockey Yeni accidentally dropped his goggles.
c)	KIND JUDY (S Khumalo), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.  Stable Employee D Monatise advised (LN).

JOCKEY CHANGES:
