Stipes Report

THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	PHANTOMOFTHEFOREST (+S Siphika) and FULL GO (+W van Staden) were slow losing two lengths.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:

a)	At approximately the 800m, SWING UPON A STAR (+D Cooper) was unbalanced when bumped out by NOT YOUR CALL (+J Gwingwizha) which was carried out by MAGIC FLOWER (+B Mayiya) which in turn was brushed out by TIMEINTHEWOODS (+R Chihwayi) which shifted out sharply and was immediately straightened.  
The Board after viewing this incident, was of the opinion that this was a racing incident and therefore took no further action.	
b)	SWING UPON A STAR (+D Cooper) hung in from the 300m.	
c)	Workrider P Siphika was charged with a convention of Rule 58.10.2 in that he used his crop in a manner which was in contravention of the conditions of the race by striking PHANTOMOFTHEFOREST on one occasion down the neck when his hand was off the rein.  Workrider Siphika signed an Admission of Guilt and is suspended from riding in One Workrider race.
	Date of Suspension:  7 June 2022.
d)	Notwithstanding the fact the GIANCARLO won the race, Workrider G Dadamasi was charged with a contravention of Rule 62.2.3 in that he failed to ride the horse GIANCARLO out to the end of the race to the satisfaction of the Stewards.  Workrider Dadamasi signed an Admission of Guilt and is suspended from riding in Two Workrider races.
	Dates of Suspension:  7 June 2022 and 14 June 2022.
Furthermore, Workrider Dadamasi was advised in the strongest possible terms to ride his mounts out to the end of the race so as to leave no room for query from the Stewards.
e)	GIANCARLO (+G Dadamasi), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.  Trainer D Nieuwenhuizen advised (LN).

WORKRIDER CHANGES:

a)	LEXI LOU was ridden by Workrider V Sithetho (declared 13 May 2022 at 08H13).
b)	GIANCARLO was ridden by Workrider G Dadamasi (declared 13 May 2022 at 08H13).
c)	SWING UPON A STAR was ridden by Workrider D Cooper (declared 19 May 2022 at 08H41).
