Stipes Report
THE STARTER REPORTED: a) SACHA (O Noach) and WHATSINADREAM (A Domeyer) were slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) During the loading process, one of the starting stall Handler's was kicked and had to be attended to by the paramedics, causing a delay. b) At the 100m RAISING QUINN (G van Niekerk) was steadied when awkwardly placed on the outside of IRISH WILDFLOWER (R Fourie) which was hanging out and shifted out away from HAMMIE'S FAN (C Bantam). c) Trainer C Bass-Robinson was questioned regarding the improved performance of GOLDEN DAH (C Zackey) compared to her run on 4 May 2022. Trainer C Bass-Robinson told the Stewards that this filly had been totally unsuited to the slow pace set by the eventual winner and as a result of the slow pace, had failed to quicken in the straight. Trainer C Bass-Robinson was advised that the Stewards will monitor GOLDEN DAH's future performances. d) GOLDEN DAH, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer C Bass-Robinson was advised.
