THE STARTER REPORTED:
a)	PERFECTLY PUTT (F Herholdt) and TIKI TAKA (D De Gouveia) were slow losing one length.	
b)	MCEBISI (C Zackey) jumped inwards leaving the stalls.	


THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:
a)	En route to the start, at approximately the 1000m, ELUSIVE WOMAN (*S Sosibo) reared over the outside running rail for no apparent reason, dislodging Apprentice S Sosibo. ELUSIVE WOMAN was examined by the Veterinary Surgeon and was subsequently scratched. 
b)	Shortly after the start, JAVA HOUSE (W Kennedy) was steadied when awkwardly placed between ENGLISH PRIMROSE (K de Melo) and GLOBAL PLAYER (M Ntuli), which was carried in by MCEBISI (C Zackey), which jumped inwards leaving the stalls.	
c)	LULU'S BOY (D Schwarz) hung in from the 250m.
d) 	Jockey	J P van der Merwe (THEROSEOFBECHARRE) did not persevere with his riding from the 300m. Thereafter, J P van der Merwe reported that he felt something amiss with THEROSEOFBECHARRE in running. In view of this report, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly.
e)	PERFECTLY PUTT (F Herholdt) commenced to give ground to the field from the 250m. In view of this performance, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. 	
f)	Jockey S Khumalo reported that he felt something amiss with INTO THE FUTURE in running. 
	The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. 	
g)	Jockey	D De Gouveia reported that TIKI TAKA took no interest in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
h)	Jockey	P Mxoli reported that TWELVE OAKS did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this mare. 
i)	CALL ME MASTER (M Yeni), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
