THE STARTER REPORTED: a) ABSOLU NOIR (D Bogaleboile) was stubborn loading. b) GANGSTER BOSS (X Ndlovu) was stubborn loading, reared in the stalls, fly-jumped as the start was effected and jumped slow, losing three lengths. c) GLOBAL BEAT (G Cheyne) was stubborn loading, nervous in the stalls and jumped slow, losing one length. d) MISS ROSE (L Mxothwa) was nervous in the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) The start of this race was delayed due to the delay in the previous race. b) ABSOLU NOIR (D Bogaleboile) shifted out away from the crop and had to be straightened at the 300m and again at the 100m. c) In view of the performance of V V Power (*KA Brewer) the veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. d) Jockey X Ndlovu reported GANGSTER BOSS coughed in the running. The veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this colt. e) In view of the report from the Starter regarding GANGSTER BOSS (X Ndlovu) and GLOBAL BEAT (G Cheyne), Trainers E Kaknis and AC Greeff respectively will be advised to have these horses re-schooled before their next engagements in terms of Rule 61.6.10. f) RAINING AGAIN, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
