Stipes Report

THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	RESPECTABLE MISS (S Khathi) and COLORADO SPRINGS (G Cheyne) were stubborn loading.
b)	CALANDRA (X Ndlovu), RATTLE MOUSE (T Gould) and MISS ORANGE (K Minnie) were slow into stride.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	Approaching the 1500m IDEAL ANGEL (L Mxothwa) was carried out by RESPECTABLE MISS (S Khathi) which commenced to over race and was directed to the outside of the field. Thereafter, RESPECTABLE MISS (S Khathi) was ridden forward to obtain a handy position and compounded from the 400m. In view of this report, the veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this filly.
b)	At the 450m FIRST STREET (M van Rensburg) was unable to secure a clear run between CALANDRA (X Ndlovu) and COLORADO SPRINGS (G Cheyne) which received some pressure from a tiring BOLD DIVA (G van Niekerk) which shifted in slightly.
c)	RATTLE MOUSE (T Gould) was continually held up for a clear run between the 550m and 150m.


d)	Jockey G van Niekerk reported BOLD DIVA choked up in running. The veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this mare.
e)	Jockey G Cheyne reported he felt something amiss with COLORADO SPRINGS. The veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this filly.
f)	FIRST STREET, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer SB Kotzen was advised. (LM)
