THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	AHEAD OF THE FACTS (JP van der Merwe) jumped awkwardly inwards, losing one length.	
	
THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	Approaching the 400m a tiring ETOILEFILLANTE (J Solomons)	 took an awkward stride when brushed 	outwards by REPETITION (C Zackey), which shifted out and was immediately straightened.
b)	Approaching the 100m GREEN MANDARIN (C Little) was steadied when racing in restricted galloping room 	between the inside running rail and MY BESTIE (A Arries), which was carried inwards by 	TOTHEMOONANDBACK (M Winnaar), which shifted in slightly and was immediately straightened.
c)	Jockey C Zackey reported that REPETITION did not stride out freely in running and he did not persevere with his 	riding in the latter stages. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
d)	Jockey C Little reported that GREEN MANDARIN did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was 	requested to examine this gelding.
e)	UMFULA, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.  Trainer B Crawford was advised. (SC)
