THE STARTER REPORTED: a) Fair start. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) In a race run at a sedate pace in the early and middle stages, ACTION STATIONS (W Kennedy) had to ease at approximately the 1450m when awkwardly placed on the heels of POLITICAL PARTY (R Fourie) which rolled out marginally and ROYAL VICTORY (R Khathi) which rolled in. b) READY OR NOT (K de Melo) was hanging out around the turn which resulted in this colt racing wide into the straight. c) ROYAL VICTORY (R Khathi), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer N Kotzen advised (HM). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) ENSUING was ridden by Jockey G van Niekerk (advised 25.05.22/14h38). RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER : a) Nil.
