THE STARTER REPORTED: a) CORNISH POMODORO (C Habib) lost one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) At the 200m, BUSH TRACKER (*C Dicken) which was hanging in from the 400m, shifted in away from the crop and was immediately straightened, making contact with CAT DADDY (D Dillon). b) GENTLEMAN'S WAGER (T Godden) and GOLDEN PHEASANT (M Yeni) raced in close proximity in the concluding stages and brushed at the finish. c) Jockey D Dillon reported that he felt something amiss with CAT DADDY in the straight and as a result he did not persevere with his ride in the concluding stages. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) GOLDEN PHEASANT (M Yeni), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer B Botes advised (HM). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) Nil. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER : a) Nil. THE VETERINARY SURGEON REPORTED : a) CAT DADDY : Nothing obvious detected. THERE WERE NO SCRATCHINGS.
