THE STARTER REPORTED:  
a)	Fair start. 
  
THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED :
a)	Shortly after the start, ARTIC TUNE (S Khumalo) was squeezed out between MACARA (R Fourie) which was bumped in by SPRING HIGH (S Veale) which jumped in and MR GONZALES (D Dillon). 
b)	At approximately the 250m, PRINCE OF TARANTO (M Yeni) was carried in by BEECHURST (*M Katjedi) which shifted in away from the crop. Apprentice M Katjedi appeared before the Board, was shown the patrol films of the incident and was advised to take the necessary corrective measures to keep his mounts straight. 
c)	At approximately the 150m, PRINCE OF TARANTO (M Yeni) had to ease to avoid the heels of MR GONZALES (D Dillon) which shifted out away from the crop. Jockey D Dillon signed an admission of guilt for a contravention of Rule 62.2.7, in that as rider of MR GONZALES, he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to PRINCE OF TARANTO (M Yeni) at approximately the 150m. (Suspension dates to be advised)               
d)	MR GONZALES (D Dillon), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.  Trainer P B Muscutt       advised (HM).
JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES :
a)	FULL BLAST raced equipped with blinkers (advised 263.05.22/5h22). 
b)	BEECHURST was ridden by Apprentice M Katjedi (claiming 4kg) (advised 28.05.22/7h50).

a)	PASSAGE OF POWER : Returned post-race having spread the left hind shoe. 

THE MEDICAL OFFICER REPORTED : 
a)	Jockey K de Melo was examined by the Medical Officer after the running of this Race - sprained right foot. Rule 25.12 applies.
