THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	INTEGRATE (C Zackey), Giancarlo (*S Sosibo) and GRECIA (D Schwarz) were slow into stride.
b)	WHO'S THAT STAR (C Habib) was slow losing one length.
c)	GRINDELWALD (*P Mxoli) jumped awkwardly, SKY GLITTER (*G Pieterse) jumped outwards and JOINT EFFORT (*K A Brewer) jumped inwards leaving the stalls.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:

a)	Shortly after the start, GRINDELWALD (*P Mxoli) was buffeted between SKY GLITTER (*G Pieterse) and RIO'S KISS (*J R Syster) which was brushed in by JOINT EFFORT (*K A Brewer) which jumped inwards leaving the stalls.
b)	Jockey M Yeni reported that TRUST THE FIRE did not stride out freely in running.  The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
c)	TAIKONAUT (G Lerena), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.  Trainer R R Magner advised (DR).
d)	COCOA HILL (J Penny), placed fifth, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. 


JOCKEY CHANGES:

a)	GLOBAL RANSOM was ridden by Jockey J Greyling.
