THE STARTER REPORTED: a) DAISY DUKE (S Khumalo) was restless in the stalls. b) Fair start. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) After leaving the parade ring correctly shod, DAISY DUKE (S Khumalo) cast her left front shoe on the way to the start which had to be replaced, causing a delay. b) FUN ZONE (A Domeyer) was hanging out throughout. c) RAFEEF'S CHOICE (G van Niekerk) was hanging out from the 400m. d) In view of the performance of LA VIDA (L Mxothwa) (Betting 25/2 ; Distance 7.35) the veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this filly. e) FUN ZONE, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
