Stipes Report
THE STARTER REPORTED: a) DON'T TELL ASH (+S Sosibo) and EMIRATE GINA (G Lerena) jumped awkwardly and MAGIC INSPIRATION (C Habib) jumped outwards leaving the stalls. b) LITTLE LADY (Wes Marwing) was slow losing two lengths. c) TAYOOBA (M Yeni) was stubborn loading. The Starting Stall Certificate for this filly has been withdrawn. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Shortly after the start, EMIRATE GINA (G Lerena) which jumped out and MAGIC INSPIRATION (C Habib) which jumped in, came together and bumped. b) At approximately the 1200m, ALWAYS IN COMMAND (*J R Syster) was carried out by DON'T TELL ASH (*S Sosibo) which proved difficult negotiating the turn. c) FEATHER BOA (D De Gouveia) which raced green, shifted out away from the crop at the 250m and was corrected. Thereafter approaching the 150m, FEATHER BOA shifted out sharply and was corrected yet again. Thereafter this filly rolled inwards in the concluding stages. When taking into consideration the amount of unnecessary ground covered by FEATHER BOA whilst shifting, Assistant Trainer N Titise was advised to take the necessary measures to improve her racing manners in future. d) In view of the Starter's report with regard to TAYOOBA, this filly has been suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as she proves tractable loading and jumping on terms with a companion. Suspension dates: 10 June 2022 to 16 June 2022. TAYOOBA may not be presented for repassing during this period. Assistant Trainer A Ndzilana advised (BN). e) EMIRATE GINA (G Lerena), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer R R Magner advised (AH). JOCKEY CHANGES: a) TAYOOBA was ridden by Jockey M Yeni (declared 9 June 2022 at 09H11).
