Stipes Report

THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	GREEDANDDESIRE (*I Taka) was stubborn loading and slow into stride.
b)	MR FOX (R Fourie), PARDON ME (C Little) and WHATTHEBUTLERSAW (C Maujean) were slow into stride.	

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	Approaching the 200m Apprentice H Moosun momentarily stopped riding AWAY WITH RED when changing 	his crop	from his left hand to his right hand and became unbalanced when he encouraged his mount forward. 	Thereafter, Apprentice H Moosun reported that this gelding made an abnormal respiratory noise, which 	resulted in him not being able to assist this gelding to the line.
	The Academy Master was contacted telephonically by a Stipendiary Steward and was advised that the ride of 	Apprentice H Moosun would not be passed as a qualifying ride. Further communication between the 	Stipendiary Board and the Academy with regards to Apprentice H Moosun will be undertaken. 
b)	HOUSE OF SUSSEX (S Naidoo) was hanging in from the 300m.
c)	STAND UP was hanging in from the 250m and thereafter Jockey MK Katjedi reported that this gelding 	changed stride continually in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. 
	Trainer DA McKenzie was advised to report back should he find anything amiss with this gelding on his return 	to the stables. 
d)	SILVERY SURFER, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer K Mitchley 	was advised. (LM)

a)	MR FOX raced without blinkers (declared 09h48 on 20250318)
b)	SILVERY SURFER raced with a tongue tie (declared 15h04 on 20250319)
