THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) GIRL SCOUT (K Matsunyane) hung out from the 200m. b) Jockey C Habib reported that IDEAL FUTURE took no interest in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. Trainer L Kruger was requested to report back to the Stipendiary Board on the condition of IDEAL FUTURE on return to stables. c) MORAINE (W Kennedy), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer A Peter, acting on behalf of Trainer P A Peter, was advised (RS). d) POCKETFULLOFSTARS (*P Mxoli) was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
