THE STARTER REPORTED: a) Fair start. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) CORAL COPY (*D Geerthsen) dislodged the rider en-route to the start and bolted. In view of this report, the Stipendiary Board, acting in terms of Rule 93.2.4, has suspended CORAL COPY indefinitely, until such time as it proves tractable cantering to the start to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Board. Trainer S Humby will be advised (RH). b) SHOT OF COURAGE (*R Venniker) over-raced in the early and middle stages. c) DEATH BLOW (K de Melo) was hanging in from the 200m. d) INTREPID ACT (S Moodley), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer M Clarke acting on behalf of Trainer G B Puller advised (HM).
