Stipes Report
THE STARTER REPORTED: a) STRATOSPHERIC (K de Melo) and PRINCESS LOUISA (C Orffer) were restless in the stalls. b) AUTUMN MOON (R Fourie) stood awkwardly in the pens and had to be corrected, causing a delay. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) All camera angles to the Boardroom froze between the 250m and the 150m. This has been reported to the Kenilworth Racing Duty Manager. b) WHISKEY MAC (G Cheyne), which raced green, was steadied off the heels of QUASIMODO (S Khumalo) shortly after the start. c). MASTERFUL GUY (A Domeyer) raced wide on the early part of the bend. d) ADMIRAL'S RANSOM J Jacobs) was held up for a number of strides approaching the 100m. e) Jockey C Zackey reported that FOREVER BILL made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. f) In view of the report from the Starter regarding STRATOSPHERIC (K de Melo) and PRINCESS LOUISA (C Orffer) Trainers SJ Snaith and PAW Botha will be advised to have these horses re-schooled before their next engagement in terms of Rule 61.6.10. g) THE HEAT IS ON, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer PP Kruyer was advised.
