THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED :
a)	Approaching the 1000m, LORD OF THE MANOR (K de Melo) which over-raced in the early stages, had to steady momentarily when awkwardly placed on the heels of DON'T TOUCH ME (*G Pieterse) which shifted in. 
b)	DON'T TOUCH ME (*G Pieterse) shifted in away from the crop from the 150m.  
c)	Jockey C Zackey reported that LAKE COMO did not stride out freely in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. 
d)	Apprentice D Geerthsen reported that he felt something amiss with CANADIAN BOLT in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. 
e)	In view of the Veterinary Surgeon's report concerning CANADIAN BOLT, and in terms of Rule 93.1, this gelding is suspended for 60 days from racing in any race under the jurisdiction of the National Horseracing Authority. Trainer R Hill was advised.  (Suspension Dates : 23.06.22 to the 21 August 22, bdi) 
f)	Jockey K de Melo signed an admission of guilt for a contravention of Rule 55.4, in that he failed to weigh out at the carded weight on LORD OF THE MANOR resulting in a change of rider. Accordingly, a penalty of fine of R1000 was imposed. 
g)	DON'T TOUCH ME (*G Pieterse), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer P A Peter advised (DZ).
