THE STARTER REPORTED: a) SOUTH WESTER (IRE) (K Minnie), GOOM GOOM (*KA Brewer), HEREWEGOJO (*K Strydom) and MISS ROSE (L Mxothwa) were nervous in the stalls. b) YEMAYA (G Cheyne) jumped slow, losing two lengths. c) TIPSY TINA (R Munger) jumped awkwardly. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) VERIFIED (JP van der Merwe) raced wide on the bend and into the straight. b) TIPSY TINA (R Munger) was hanging in in the straight. c) YEMAYA (G Cheyne) raced green. d) Jockey M Mjoka reported that JACKSON MISISSIPPI made an abnormal respiratory noise in running.
