THE STARTER REPORTED: a) Fair start. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) PETECA (W Kennedy) and MONSIEUR CHEVELLE (R Fourie) were hanging out throughout. b) Approaching the 200m, PETECA (W Kennedy) and LIKETHECLAPPERS (*K Strydom) came together and brushed on two occasions. c) Shortly before the finish, FILL YOUR BOOTS (C Habib) was switched to the inside of LIKETHECLAPPERS (*K Strydom) to obtain a clear run. d) Trainer P Peter signed an admission of guilt for a contravention of Rule 8.3.1, in that he failed to ensure that the owners colour's were available for the horse PETECA. Accordingly, a penalty of a warning was imposed. e) NATIONAL DREAM (K de Melo), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer A Wright advised (DZ). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) MASTER GENERAL raced equipped with blinkers (advised 26.06.22/7h09). b) DON'T LINNGAR raced equipped with blinkers (advised 25.06.22/10h32).
