THE STARTER REPORTED:
a) DESERT PRIDE (S Moodley) lost one length.
THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED :
a) At the 900m, Apprentice R Venniker's (HATTA) colour cap became detached from her skull cap.
b) At the 900m, NOBLE STORM (K Sakayi) ran onto and clipped the heels of GIN AND TONIC (C Zackey).
c) Jockey A Arries reported that VISION OF WILL faltered on two occasions in the running. In view of this report, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine.
d) CORNER CRUSADE (*C Dicken) was hanging out and shifted out away from the crop in the concluding stages.
e) METEORIC (J Syster), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer P Peter acting on behalf of Trainer R Klaasen advised (DZ).
