THE STARTER REPORTED: a) LITTLE DOE (K de Melo) jumped awkwardly outwards. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Shortly after the start VERONIQUE (K Steyn) was bumped on the hindquarters by ARCTIC ICE (D Ashby), which was bumped outwards by DEMELZA (L Mxothwa) which was bumped by LITTLE DOE (K de Melo) which jumped awkwardly outwards. As a consequence, ARCTIC ICE (D Ashby) was unable to obtain a handy position. b) Trainer C Bass-Robinson will be requested to report back on the condition of NIPPY WINTER on her return to the stables. c) LITTLE MISS PINK, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
