THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) CONSOL QUEEN (J R Syster) was unbalanced when buffeted between MIRREN (S Khumalo) and DARK TRAVEL (C Habib) which jumped inwards leaving the stalls. b) Jockey C Zackey reported that NASIRIYAH made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. c) Trainer A Nassif is to be questioned regarding the improved performance of CONSOL QUEEN. d) DARK TRAVEL (C Habib), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
