Stipes Report

THE STARTER REPORTED:  
a)	MOUNT GREYLOCK (T Godden) refused to load and was withdrawn. 
b)	DISPICABLE (A Mgudlwa) kicked in the stalls, examined by the Veterinary Surgeon, declared fit to race and was reloaded. 
  
THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED :
a)	NORTHERN WARRIOR (*D Geerthsen) was hanging out throughout. 
b)	Approaching the 300m, FATHER'S FROST (*S Hlengwa) was brushed out by DISPICABLE (A Mgudlwa) which was hanging out from the 350m. Thereafter, at the 250m, FATHER'S FROST (*S Hlengwa) was switched out for a clear run and steadied momentarily in the concluding stages when awkwardly placed on the heels of COUNT MARSH (S Khumalo) which rolled out marginally. 
c)	Jockey R Fourie reported that he felt something amiss with HIGH LEGISLATION in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. 
d)	In view of the Starter's report with regard to MOUNT GREYLOCK (T Godden), this gelding's starting stall certificate is withdrawn and it is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as it proves tractable with a companion.  Suspension dates: 07.07.22 to the 13.07.22.  MOUNT GREYLOCK may not be presented for re-passing during this period.  Trainer D Drier will be advised. (SN) 
e)	COUNT MARSH (S Khumalo), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer R A Hill advised (NS).

a)	QUEST FOR THE BEST raced equipped with blinkers (advised 06.07.22/7h30). 
b)	DISPICABLE raced without blinkers (advised 06.07.22/7h52).
