THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	ANATURA (E Webber) and BAT OUT OF HELL (*P Mxoli) jumped slow, losing one length.
b)	VIDA FUTURA (G Cheyne) was slow into stride.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	After leaving the parade ring correctly shod, POLICY TARGET (A Domeyer) cast its left front shoe on the way to the start, which had to be replaced.
b)	NOTORIX (K Minnie) over raced in the early and middle stages.
c)	Apprentice MK Katjedi, the rider of MIKE THE PILOT, which was hanging in, briefly dropped his right-side rein leaving the 150m.
d)	Jockey Y Ramzan reported that he felt something amiss with AL FALAK. The veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
