THE STARTER REPORTED: a) INTO THE FUTURE (M Yeni) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. b) THE MAKWAKKERS (J Penny), MOONSTRIKE (K de Melo) and TRUST THE FIRE (D De Gouveia) were slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) TRUST THE FIRE (D De Gouveia) commenced to give ground to the field from the 300m. Thereafter, Jockey D De Gouveia reported that TRUST THE FIRE did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. b) Jockey C Habib reported that he felt something amiss with PRINCESS SABRINA in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. c) LAETITIA'S ANGEL (R Munger), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer A B Fortune advised (AH). JOCKEY CHANGES: a) BRITISH DIVA: Apprentice S Sosibo weighed out at 49,8kg, 0,5kg over the carded weight. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: a) TRUST THE FIRE raced equipped with alumites in front and unshod behind (declared 11 July 2022 at 08H52). b) PRINCESS SABRINA raced equipped with alumites in front, unshod behind and a tongue tie on (declared 15 July 2022 at 05H51).
