THE STARTER REPORTED: a) SEA VISTA (*S Hlengwa) was stubborn to load. Trainer M Roberts will be advised to re-school this gelding. b) INTIMIDATOR (R Fourie) and WYLIE RILEY (W Kennedy) lost one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) At the 900m, EAGLE QUEST (*D Geerthsen) was brushed out by ULTIMATE JEWEL (G Wright) which rolled out around the turn. b) At approximately the 450m, AURORA STORM (T Godden) was brushed out by FIRE LORD (K de Melo) which was switched out to obtain a clear run at the top of the straight. c) Jockey R Fourie reported that INTIMIDATOR changed stride continually in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) FIRE LORD (K de Melo), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer T Brown acting on behalf of Trainer M F de Kock advised (NS). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) WIIDSKI raced with a compression mask. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER : a) Nil.
