THE STARTER REPORTED: a) KING OF ROME (C Zackey) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Leaving the 200m, LUTHULI (M Yeni) was bumped by LOVE ME AGAIN (G Lerena) which hung out from the 400m. b) I AM GIANT (K Matsunyane) which raced green, hung in from the 200m. c) In view of the performance of LOVE ME AGAIN (G Lerena), (betting 9/4, distance 13,25 lengths), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this colt. Assistant Trainer A Peter was requested to report back to the Board on the condition of this colt on return to stables. d) I AM GIANT (K Matsunyane), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Stable Employee J Crawford advised (LN). JOCKEY CHANGES: a) SAMTHEWISEMAN was ridden by Jockey D De Gouveia.
