THE STARTER REPORTED: a) HIGH ROLLER (J R Syster) was stubborn loading and thereafter was slow into stride. b) TWICE IN CAMDEN (Wes Marwing) and VIEW FROM VENUS (R Danielson) were slow into stride. c) BERENGARIA (M Yeni) and SASSY (N Klink) were stubborn loading. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) BAD HAIR DAY (D De Gouveia) commenced to give ground to the field from the 300m. b) Jockey P Strydom did not persevere with his riding form the 300m and thereafter reported that he felt something amiss with RAISING A STORM in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. Trainer J S Roux was requested to report back to the Board on the condition of this filly on return to stables. c) HIGH ROLLER (J R Syster) hung out from the 250m. d) VIEW FROM VENUS (R Danielson) compounded from the 150m. e) BERENGARIA (M Yeni) raced green. f) Jockey C Zackey reported that I'M IN LOVE made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. g) HIGH ROLLER (J R Syster), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
