THE STARTER REPORTED: a) FLORENTINE (K de Melo) jumped outwards leaving the stalls. b) CRIMSON PRINCESS (R Munger) was slow losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) FOLLOW ME (K Matsunyane) was difficult to settle in the early and middle stages. b) Jockey K de Melo reported that FLORENTINE made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. c) ROUGE ALLURE (G Lerena), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer S Moffatt advised (AH). JOCKEY CHANGES: a) FLORENTINE was ridden by Jockey K de Melo (declared 28 July 2022 at 09H22). RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: None.
