Stipes Report

THE STARTER REPORTED:
a)	KIAWAH (B Nyawo) was slow losing many lengths. The starting stall certificate for this filly has been withdrawn. Trainer A Azzie was advised (GT).	
b)	THREE HEARTS (N Klink) and GILDA GRAY (M van Rensburg) were slow into stride.	

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:
a)	Jockey	G Lerena, the rider of FLAME FLOWER, accidentally dropped his crop at the 300m.
b)	At approximately the 250m, DARK TRAVEL (J R Syster) had to steady momentarily to avoid running onto the heels of STUNNING KITTEN (M Yeni), which shifted out away from the crop.
c)	In view of the performance of SPICE MARKET (J P van der Merwe), (distance 10,75 lengths, betting 4/1), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly.
d)	In view of the Starter's report with regard to KIAWAH, this filly's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn and she is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as she proves tractable loading with a companion. 
Suspension dates: 29 July 2022 to 4 August 2022.  KIAWAH may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Trainer A Azzie was advised.  		
e)	DANCING ARABIAN (R Danielson), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
	Stable Employee C Botha, acting on behalf of Trainer R R Magner, was advised (GF). 	

JOCKEY CHANGES:
a)	SPICE MARKET was ridden by Jockey J P van der Merwe (declared 26 July 2022 at 16H00).	
b)	FLAME FLOWER was ridden by	 Jockey G Lerena (declared 28 July 2022 at 08H28).
c)	GILDA GRAY was ridden by Jockey M van Rensburg (declared 28 July 2022 at 08H17).	
Trainer F Bronkhorst was charged with a contravention of Rule 55.1.1 in that he declared Jockey K de Melo to ride the horse GILDA GRAY without having obtained his prior consent. Trainer F Bronkhorst signed an Admission of Guilt and a penalty of a Warning was imposed.    `
