THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	GLOBAL DRUMMER (*MH Zuma) shifted out continually in the straight without correction. Apprentice MH Zuma appeared before the Board and was told that the Stewards expect him to take the necessary corrective measures to keep his mounts on a straight course in future.
b)	Jockey M van Rensburg reported that BRASS BELL made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
c)	In view of the performance of VAN GOGH (L Mxothwa), which raced wide on the bend, the veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
d)	INHERIT THE RAIN, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer AC Greeff was advised. (LN)
e)	AL QAASIM, unplaced, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer Z Oosthuizen was advised. (LN)
