THE STARTER REPORTED: a) Fair start. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) Shortly after the start, DEMIGOD stumbled badly, dislodging Jockey J P v'd Merwe who was attended to by the Paramedics and taken to the Course Medical Centre. This resulted in him being incapacitated from weighing back in. The Board acting in terms of Rule 66.2, deemed his weight to be correct. b) At approximately the 250m, Jockey T Godden (GIRL OF TREGUNTER) briefly lost his footing from his right side stirrup iron. c) In the concluding stages, FLASHY KAITRINA (*M Katjedi) which rolled in and LADY TIPTREE (*K Strydom) which rolled out came together and brushed. d) Jockey M Yeni reported that STAR CHOICE continually changed stride in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) Jockey A Mgudlwa reported that he felt something amiss with WINTER'S DESTINY in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. f) FLASHY KAITRINA (*M Katjedi), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
