Stipes Report
THE STARTER REPORTED: a) LIZADO (D De Gouveia) and THE GLIDING FISH (M Khan) were slow losing one length. b) CAMPA (*P Mxoli) stumbled leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) RIDGE TO REEF (*S Sosibo) was switched in to continue its run at the 200m. b) Jockey G Lerena reported that INTEGRATE shortened its stride in the concluding stages. In view of this report, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. c) Apprentice P Mxoli (CAMPA) and Jockey C Habib (ESQUEVELLE) reported that their respective mounts did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine these horses. d) FRONTLINE FIGHTER (M Yeni), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer P Peter advised (AH). JOCKEY CHANGES: a) MAGIC FLOWER was ridden by Apprentice J Solomons (declared 6 August 2022 at 08H15). RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: a) THE GLIDING FISH Jockey M Khan weighed out at 55,8kg, 0,5kg over the carded weight as declared. THE VETERINARY SURGEON REPORTED: a) INTEGRATE not striding out behind. b) CAMPA examined post race, nothing obvious detected. c) ESQUEVELLE examined post race, nothing obvious detected.
