THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	MISS ROSE (M Mjoka), EASY LIVING (JP van der Spuy) and LIKEABLE (*P Mxoli) were stubborn loading.
b)	CARBONADO (L Mxothwa) and EUROPEAN SUMMER (D Bogaleboile) were nervous in the stalls and jumped slow, losing one length.
c)	MADAME PATRICE (S Khathi) jumped slow, losing one length.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	TIPSY TINA (R Munger) was examined at the start by the course veterinary surgeon and passed suitable to race.
b)	Shortly after the start BOUQUET (X Ndlovu) and EUROPEAN SUMMER (D Bogaleboile) came together and brushed.
c)	MADAME PATRICE (S Khathi) over raced in the early stages.
d)	At approximately the 800m, Jockey S Khathi (MADAME PATRICE) was struck in the face by a clod of the polytrack surface.
e)	Apprentice P Mxoli reported that LIKEABLE changed stride in running. The veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this filly.
f)	After the running of this race, Jockey M Mjoka was stood down by the course medical officer with flu symptoms. Rule 25.12 applies.
g)	EASY LIVING, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer GD Smith was advised. (SP)
h)	EUROPEAN SUMMER, the fourth-placed horse, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer E Kaknis was advised. (SP)
