THE STARTER REPORTED: a) INTIMIDATOR (J Syster) lost one length. b) RED SPARK (A Arries) and BLITZEN (*G Pieterse) lost two lengths. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) In the concluding stages, INTIMIDATOR (J Syster) which was hanging in from the 300m, was tightened for galloping room between the outside running rail and MUSIC IS LIFE (A Mgudlwa) which rolled out. b) Shortly before the finish, ARVERNI KING (K de Melo) and MUSIC IS LIFE (A Mgudlwa) came together and brushed. c) EDDIE THE MOVER (G Wright), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
