THE STARTER REPORTED:  
a)	FULL BLAST (*D Geerthsen) lost one length. 
  
THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED :
a)	Between the 400m and 300m, TRIVIAL MATTER (S Veale) which rolled in, was brushed out on two occasions by TRADE WAR (*M Zuma) which was hanging out. As a consequence of this incident, TARDE WAR (*M Zuma) became unbalanced and took an awkward stride. In view of this report, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine TRIVIAL MATTER. 
b)	FULL BLAST (*D Geerthsen) was hanging out in the concluding stages. 
c)	Jockey S Khumalo reported that he felt something amiss with TWIN STRIKE in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. 
d)	In view of the Veterinary Surgeon's report concerning TWIN STRIKE, and in terms of Rule 93.1, this gelding is suspended for 120 days from racing in any race under the jurisdiction of the National Horseracing Authority. Trainer P F Matchett was advised. (Suspension Dates : 22.08.22 - 19.12.2022, bdi)
