THE STARTER REPORTED:
a)	SKY RUNNER (*S Sosibo) was slow losing four lengths. The starting stall certificate for this gelding has been withdrawn. Trainer J Borman was advised (LAS).		
b)	ROBIN REDBREAST (J Penny) jumped inwards leaving the stalls.	

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:
a)	Jockey S Khumalo reported that ATLANTIC CITY changed stride continually in running. 
	The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. 	
b)	Jockey J P van der Merwe reported that APACHE RUN did not stride out freely in running. 
	The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this colt. 	
c)	In view of the Starter's report with regard to SKY RUNNER, this gelding's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn and he is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as he proves tractable jumping with a companion. 
Suspension dates: 24 August 2022 to 30 August 2022.  SKY RUNNER may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Trainer J Borman was advised.  	
d)	LUTHULI (*J Solomons), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.

e)	GLOBAL APPROACH (*R A Venniker), placed second, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Stable Employee J Crawford, acting on behalf of Trainer B Crawford, was advised (LK).
