THE STARTER REPORTED: a) TRIPTOROYALTY (*R Venniker) was restless in the stalls and rushed the front gates. This filly was removed from the stalls, examined by the Veterinary Surgeon, passed fit to race and reloaded. b) CINNAMON BLUSH (C Habib) was restless in the stalls. c) ROY'S CAVIAR (K Matsunyane) and ASIYE PHAMBILI (K de Melo) were stubborn to load. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) LADY JANE LOVER (*D Geerthsen) was hanging in from the 200m. b) PALM BREEZE (S Moodley) was hanging in, in the concluding stages. c) Jockey C Habib reported that CINNAMON BLUSH took no interest in the running and as a result did not persevere with his mount from the 300m. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) Jockey R Munger reported that he felt something amiss with ROYAL OASIS in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) Apprentice R Venniker reported that TRIPTOROYALTY changed stride continually in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. f) PALM BREEZE (S Moodley), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
