Stipes Report

THE STARTER REPORTED:  
a)	SIR CEDRIC (C Habib), UNCLE LUCKY (S Veale) and DIRECT CHARGE (*D Geerthsen) were slow losing one length. 
b)	SHADOWBREAK (M Mjoka) was restless in the stalls. 
  
THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED :
a)	SHADOWBREAK (M Mjoka) had to be encouraged forward on a number of occasions in the early stages and middle stages. 
b)	Leaving the 400m, OVER AND ICE (K de Melo) and ZOOBERI (R Khathi) were carried out by MONEY HEIST (M Yeni) which shifted out and was straightened. 
c)	At the 250m, OVER AND ICE (K de Melo) which had come to the end of its run, had to be steadied when awkwardly placed between ZOOBERI (R Khathi) which rolled outwards and JOHNNY'S HOPE (K Matsunyane) which shifted in away from the crop. 
d)	ROYAL POINT (S Moodley) was hanging out between the 300m and the 200m. 
e)	WAR MASTER (J Gates) was hanging out from the 250m. 
f)	Jockey J Gates reported that WAR MASTER made an abnormal noise in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. 
g)	MONEY HEIST (M Yeni), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer Gareth van Zyl advised (DZ).

a)	SHADOWBREAK raced with a compression mask (advised 27.08.22/7h58). 
b)	WAR MASTER raced with ear muffs (advised 26.08.22/9h21).
