THE STARTER REPORTED: a) KINGS ROAD (J R Syster) jumped outwards and VEGAS HI RISE (*R A Venniker) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) As the start was effected, BURNING WINGS (*K A Brewer) was buffeted between KINGS ROAD (J R Syster) and VEGAS HI RISE (*R A Venniker) which jumped inwards. Thereafter BURNING WINGS and VEGAS HI RISE were carried out by KINGS ROAD which jumped awkwardly out. b) Apprentice K A Brewer reported that BURNING WINGS changed stride continually in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. c) VEGAS HI RISE (*R A Venniker), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer A Peter advised (LN). JOCKEY CHANGES: None. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: a) KINGS ROAD raced equipped with alumites in front and unshod behind (declared 29 August 2022 at 07H59). THE VETERINARY SURGEON REPORTED: a) BURNING WINGS examined post race, nothing obvious detected. THERE WERE NO SCRATCHINGS. DISQUALIFIED / DECLARED NON-RUNNER: None.
