THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) Approaching the 1400m, PLAYER (K de Melo) had to be steadied momentarily when awkwardly placed on the heels of ATLANTIC CITY (C Habib) which took an awkward stride and rolled in. b) ATLANTIC CITY (C Habib) continually changed stride in the running. In view of this report, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. c) Jockey M Yeni reported that WILDSTYLE made an abnormal respiratory noise in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) PLAYER (K de Melo), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
