THE STARTER REPORTED: a) RETAIL THERAPY (J Gates) and OCTOBER SONG (S Moodley) lost one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) OCTOBER SONG (S Moodley) raced wide throughout. b) Shortly before the finish, AREA FIFTY ONE (R Khathi) was carried out marginally by BAUBLES AND BEADS (S Veale) which shifted out. c) Jockey J Gates (RETAIL THERAPY) and Jockey K de Melo (BOLDLY GO) reported that their respective mounts did not stride out freely in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) In view of the Veterinary Surgeon's report concerning AREA FIFTY ONE, and in terms of Rule 93.1, this filly is suspended for 60 days from racing in any race under the jurisdiction of the National Horseracing Authority. Assistant Trainer C Eudey acting on behalf of Trainer M Miller was advised.
