THE STARTER REPORTED:
a)	STRANGE MAGIC (K de Melo) was restless and reared in the stalls. 
b)	SILK GARDEN (*R A Venniker), OCEANS PRIDE (M Thackeray), GREEN BUBBLES (J R Syster) and 
	POMOZELOUS (C Habib) were slow losing one length.	

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:
a)	At approximately the 1200m, MISS TANGO (*M K Katjedi) was steadied momentarily to avoid running onto the heels of STRANGE MAGIC (K de Melo), which rolled in marginally.
b)	At approximately the 800m, FEEL THE MAGIC (J Greyling) was taken back for a stride in avoiding the heels of SILK GARDEN (*R A Venniker), who in turn was steadied to avoid running onto the heels of ULTIMA ICTU (R Munger).
c)	Leaving the 150m, MISS TANGO (*M K Katjedi) was carried out marginally by STRANGE MAGIC (K de Melo), which commenced to hand out from the 200m.
d)	QUANTUM (*K A Brewer) hung out in the concluding stages.
e)	Jockey K de Melo reported that STRANGE MAGIC did not stride out freely in running. 
The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. 
f)	Jockey	M Thackeray reported that OCEANS PRIDE did not stride out freely in running.
