THE STARTER REPORTED: a) EXPRESSIVITY (*R Venniker) lost two lengths. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) JOY TO THE WORLD (*J Solomons) over-raced in the early stages. b) At approximately the 800m, SAYULITA (T Gumede) and FAIZAH (K Sakayi) brushed the inside running rail. As a consequence, SAYULITA (T Gumede) and FAIZAH (K Sakayi) were eased and EXPRESSIVITY (*R Venniker) was switched out off the heels of SAYULITA (T Gumede). c) MINSTREL GALLERY (R Danielson) raced wide around the turn. d) SAYULITA (T Gumede) was hanging out from the 300m. e) In the concluding stages, EXPRESSIVITY (*R Venniker) which was hanging in, had to steady to avoid running onto the heels of MINSTREL GALLERY (R Danielson). f) Jockey C Zackey reported that ADITI made an abnormal respiratory noise in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. g) In view of the performance of CENTRAL TOWER (*G Pieterse) (23.00 lengths, 50/1 in the betting) the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. h) QUANABI (K Matsunyane), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
