THE STARTER REPORTED: a) ABOUT TO STORM ducked out sharply leaving the stalls, dislodging Jockey G Lerena. Trainer J J van Vuuren was advised to reschool this gelding prior to his next engagement (PHvdW). b) BLONDE ACT (*P Mxoli) was slow losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) An investigation will be opened into an incident which occurred in the Stipendiary Stewards Boardroom, which spiralled into the surrounding areas of the racecourse prior to Race 9. b) ABOUT TO STORM ducked out sharply leaving the stalls, dislodging Jockey G Lerena and took no part in the running of this Race. c) Shortly before the finish, LEGISLATE'S DANCE (M Yeni) was carried in marginally by BEY SUYAY (S Khumalo), which shifted in away from the crop. d) BEY SUYAY (S Khumalo), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
