THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) Shortly after the start, MAQUETTE (S Khumalo) was bumped and squeezed out between VIVID JET (K de Melo) which jumped in and LIVE MY LIFE (S Veale) which jumped out. As a consequence, MAQUETTE (S Khumalo) lost ground to the field. b) Jockey S Khumalo reported that MAQUETTE did not stride out freely in the running.
