THE STARTER REPORTED: a) IMPOSING (*M Katjedi) lost one length. b) RODRIGUEZ (C Habib) lost two lengths. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) In the concluding stages, DOUBLE MARTINI (K Matsunyane) was momentarily inconvenienced when awkwardly placed on the heels of PEWTER SKY (M Yeni) which was carried out by RED SOLE (S Veale) which shifted out away from the crop. Thereafter, DOUBLE MARTINI (K Matsunyane) was switched in to obtain a clear run. A member of the Stipendiary Board called a race review into the above incident and after reviewing the incident in question was comfortably satisfied that the result of the race had not been affected. Accordingly no further action was taken. b) MAXIUMUS (K de Melo), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer N Roscoe acting on behalf of Trainer D Kannemeyer advised (DZ). c) RED SOLE (S Veale), placed third, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
