Stipes Report

THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	CONTIGUOUS (S Khumalo) was fractious loading and had to be hooded, causing a delay. 
b)	ALLEZ MORIS (L Mxothwa) jumped outwards and made contact with SPACE EXPLORER (C Bantam).

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	From a wide draw HAWK CIRCLE (R Fourie) was steadied and taken in behind runners to obtain cover. Thereafter HAWK CIRCLE (R Fourie) raced green on the bend.
b)	LEADERSHIP (G Behr) pulled hard in the early stages.
c)	CONTIGUOUS (S Khumalo) was held up for a number of strides approaching the 400m.
d)	HOLY ORDERS (S Mbhele) was hanging in badly in the straight and proved difficult to assist. The veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
e)	In view of the report from the starter regarding CONTIGUOUS (S Khumalo), this colt's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn and he is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 and until such time as he proves to be tractable with a companion. Suspension dates: 14/09/2022 to 20/09/2022 inclusive). CONTIGUOUS may not be presented for re-passing during this period.
f)	ALLEZ MORIS, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer B Crawford was advised. (SC)
