THE STARTER REPORTED: a) SHE'S MY CAPTAIN (O Noach) was restless in the stalls. b) CALL ME THE BREEZE (K de Melo) jumped slow, losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) SEEKING PEACE (S Khumalo) over raced in the early and middle stages. b) The saddle on CIOLLUM'S DELIGHT (S Mbhele) slipped back slightly in running. This was confirmed by a Stipendiary Steward. c) Jockey R Fourie reported that SILVER GARBO made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this filly. d) MAGNETIC DIME, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer WA Nel was advised.
